The trailer for 14 Phere, starring Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda, just dropped and the film looks like a rom-com dealing with the cliched problem of parents’ opposition to love marriages but in a fresh manner!
Sanjay and Aditi met and fell in love at college, lived together and now want to marry each other. And as usual, the problems starts with that decision. Both their parents are against love marriage and inter-caste relations. But the couple devises a plan to get to their goal & that too with their parents in attendance by taking along fake parents to meet either family and then ultimately getting married twice, once in front of each side’s relatives.
Written by Manoj Kalwani & directed by Devanshu Singh, the film seems to be an innovative take on the usual rom-com genre with similar storylines, supported by an able ensemble cast including Gauahar Khan (as self proclaimed ‘Dilli ki Meryl Streep) & Jameel Khan.
Bollywood loves and aces at showing celebrations on screen and 14 Phere comes with the full package but everything ×2! Okay
