Known as the ‘Voice Of A Generation’, Billie Eilish is here with a Disney+ original that will take us on her journey as a young singer, songwriter and pop star. The trailer for ‘Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter To LA’ gives us an overview of what to expect from this uniquely crafted concert film.
The trailer starts with a voiceover of Billie Eilish saying how she has always fantasized about Los Angeles as it is a world on its own but one that has forever been intertwined with hers. From fast transitions that are in perfect synchronization with her music to Billie Eilish transforming into an animated version of herself, the trailer seems like a very promising preface to the film.
Directed by Robert Rodriguez and by the Oscar-winner Patrick Osborne, this film will contain all the tracks from Billie Eilish’s latest album – Happier Than Ever. In a stylish tribute-like format to her hometown, the film has been shot at the Hollywood Bowl accompanied by the L.A. Philharmonic.
We get glimpses of the magnificence of Hollywood and an honest look into the life of this record breaking teenager who rose to fame for her unique voice and lyrics. The film features Billie’s brother and musical collaborator, Finneas, & promises to transport viewers to another realm altogether. The trailer also hints at some magnificent cinematography.
