The trailer for Hawkeye has arrived. This mini-TV series is based on the Hawkeye comic, run from 2013 to 2015. On 13th September, Marvel Studios released the first trailer for its next Disney+ series Hawkeye, led by Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld, as his protégé Kate Bishop, who it seems will take the mantle from him.
This Marvel show is set up around Christmas as we see Clint promising his daughter to return for Christmas. We can also expect to see some happenings of the timeline between the Blip and Snap and the after-effects of it.
As we know that full appearance of Hawkeye was seen in the Endgame, where he was found operating under the name Ronin in between those 5 years, known for killing people like a ‘gangster vigilante’. As he says himself in the trailer, “I’ve created many enemies in this role” and so we can expect some new villains to join the Marvel Universe. We also see Clint coming face to face with his ‘reality’ as he watches news about a masked vigilante, with the anchor saying that it seems like the masked vigilante who had terrorised the city’s underworld is back and it seems that Hawkeye’s “past has caught up with him”.
This masked fighter later turns out to be Kate. The duo is then shown working together and we see pretty amazing action shots and fighting scenes.
As shown in Black Widow, Natasha`s sister Yelena, played by Florence Pugh, is told that Clint is responsible for Natasha’s death & she is seeking revenge making the show even more interesting.
The trailer also shows a Broadway show named ‘Rogers: The Musical’ where we see Marvel heroes as ‘characters’ dancing in the theatre!
The whole trailer has the song “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of The Year” playing in the background giving it a Christmas feel while maintaining the unease & tension.
The trailer looks amazing and interesting. We are expecting to catch some explanation of those lost 5 years and see how our favorite Hawkeye operates in the present and if he manages to reach his family in time for Christmas or not?
Hawkeye will begin streaming on Disney+ from 24th November. You can catch the trailer here –
