Heropanti 2 is the second installment in the Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti Franchise. The almost four minute trailer is packed with action with extremely little storyline. As expected, Tiger Shroff is in the lead with his human-fight machine role saving the world and perhaps his loved ones from the psychotic villain and magician, humorously named Laila and brilliantly played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The lead actress Tara Sutaria is the only romantic tangent to the movie and female representative in the trailer.

There is not much we know about how the story other than the one line explanations about the characters each and bland overused dialogues like, “Babloo dhundne se nahi, kismat se milta hain,” and “Heropanti, sabko aati nahi aur meri jaati nahi.” Overall, the trailer is extremely weird with multiple fight scenes one after another. There is a fight scene in which Tiger Shroff is fighting giant and lifeless rock chess pieces and there is no explanation why. He is also seen stopping cars that are tripping and flying. There is a very difficult to digest dialogue delivery by Tara’s character as well that makes the audience cringe.

The cinematography is not upto the mark at all. The whole trailer with its more than necessary VFX and heavy editing feels like an advertisement of the brand that is Tiger Shroff. The songs, although by AR Rahman, aren’t that catchy either. The cast seems to be missing the point as well. The manic character by Nawazuddin is a reminder of his similar character in Kick while Babloo is the same guy from every other Tiger Movie. There is very little weight to the trailer and lesser expectations that it gives rise to.
