The spin-off to Singham is here and it’s big! Simmba, directed by Rohit Shetty in association with Karan Johar has found a trailer release for itself today. As per usual, it shares the extremely extravagance of action that Rohit Shetty has to offer us in each of his movies.

The trailer begins with the narration provided with the original Singham, Ajay Devgn. He talks about his town Shivgadh where he managed to make it as a good cop. Right in that town, grew up a small boy Simmba (Ranveer Singh) who became a police officer as well, but with different intentions. You see his liveliness seep through his character as a cop that works just for money. He works with the criminals and the gangsters of the areas, one of who is played by Sonu Sood. We get a glimpse of his lady love, Sara Ali Khan. Events turn in such a way that Sonu Sood’s brother turn out be rapists which angers Ranveer Singh at a different level. Everyone around him showers him with a sense that if the cops do nothing to exterminate these criminals, nothing will change.

Ranveer’s character does a 180 turn and he’s on the path that Singham followed, towards justice and righteousness to law. The trailer ends with the grand entry of Singham (Ajay Devgn) through a glass window in his police jeep whilst walking out of the moving car ever so effortlessly. It takes you right back to the former Singham films, giving you flashbacks as to why you fell in love with Singham in the first place.

Starring, as mentioned above, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood and Ajay Devgn, the film is set to hit the theatres on 28th of December, 2018 and is set to end the year with a bang.

The Red Sparrow is ready to go through a gush of action sequences involving cars, guns and fist fights alongside the charm of Ranveer Singh that seems to bring the Singham series to a fulfilling satisfaction. Ata Maaji Satakli if you don’t go over to check the trailer right now!
