The trailer for the final movie in the Kissing Booth franchise is finally out. Directed by Vince Marcello, the franchise stars the much loved cast of Joey King, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi and Taylor Zakhar Perez. The high school drama, based on Beth Reekles’ books by the same name, comes to an end with this final movie.
The Kissing Booth 2 left us high and dry with Elle (Joey King) in a predicament of choosing a college for herself. Should she go with Harvard, where her boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) studies or Berkeley, which she and her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney) have always planned to attend together? The Kissing Booth 3 is the answer to this question but the trailer seems to hint at many more hard choices for Elle.
The trailer starts off with Elle, Noah, Lee and Rachel spending their last summer together before starting college. It’s a full on summer blast with a beach house, parties, bucket lists, and wholesome relationships. In her attempt to spend quality time with both Noah and Lee, Elle is left drained. Meanwhile, we see the reappearance of Marco (Taylor Zakhar Perez) and it seems like he is not ready to give Elle up either.
The trailer for the highly anticipated missing piece of the trilogy has a lot to offer. While the audience is left feeling excited and curious about the bucket list that Elle and Lee conjured up as kids, we are also anxious to see what Elle finally decides. The reason why the trilogy is so close to so many teenagers is because it is relatable. The choice between friendship, love and career is difficult to align for anyone, let alone teenagers.
Is it going to be Team Noah, Team Lee or Team Marco or is finally Team Elle going to score a win? We just have to wait for the movie to drop on 11th August on Netflix to know the answer!
