Modern Love is a column of essays in the New York Times newspaper which later got adapted into not only this series but also a podcast. These real stories about finding love in all its shapes & forms at unexpected places and uncertain times are enough to make anyone’s day. They serve as a source of hope and an antidote to all the negativity around us, much needed in the present circumstances that envelopes the world. 

In Season 1, we witnessed a refreshing take on love where the audience was left startled at the uniqueness of the stories along with the brilliant cast that participated in it. From showcasing stories revolving around dating while dealing with mental health problems to honest conversations between a married couple to getting inspired by a long lost love, Season 1 of Modern Love was full of slices of life’s tales. And going by the trailer, Season 2 is set to help us revere love in all its facets once again. 

While the trailer only has tiny glimpses of the characters & dialogues, it still leaves one feeling warm and fuzzy. Season 2 also promises to be as star-packed as its previous part while it tells a set of 8 stories, three out of which are based in Ireland while the remaining five are set in New York City. Season 2 of Modern Love, created by John Carney, stars actors like Kit Harington, Tobias Menzies, Sophie Okonedo, Lucy Boynton & Minnie Driver among others with directors such as John Crowley, Marta Cunningham & Jesse Peretz being featured on the series.
