Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Doctor Strange and Tom Holland stars as Spider-Man/Peter Parker in Columbia Pictures’ SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME.

The teaser trailer for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is finally out after a much awaited cliffhanger that the previous film left us at, with Peter Parker’s identity as Spider-Man revealed to the world.

In the trailer, we see how Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, is left to pick up the pieces after this revelation. He not only has to defend his image as a good guy who did not kill Mysterio but also has to deal with the public shaming now that the people can put a face to the masked Spiderman. We even see some funny repercussions of this reveal with Michelle Jones (Zendaya) reading out rumours published in the newspaper about Spider-Man but the fun is short lived as Dr. Octopus (Alfred Molina) makes his return.

One of the most exciting parts of the trailer is seeing Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) partner with Spider-Man in order to help him keep his real identity hidden. In an attempt to make people forget the real face behind Spider-Man, Dr. Strange casts a spell that may or may not work in Peter’s favour. A philosophical aspect radiates from this scene that reminds one that all actions have consequences, some intended and others unintended. Before even thinking of messing with the sequence of the universe, one should be sure if they are ready to accept the ramifications that will most definitely come along.

While Dr. Stranger’s voice echoes “Be careful what you wish for Parker”, we see an old foe of SpiderMan return – Doc Ock. This not only brings up a lot of traumatic memories for the fans but also makes us wonder how far in the past did Spider-Man travel. With multiple fan theories speculating Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of Spider-Man making a comeback alongside Tom Holland, we imagine (and hope) that fighting the collapse of the multiverse would require this kind of power! The trailer leaves us with a bunch of unanswered questions & we hope to get the answers around Christmas!

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is set to release on 17th December. Catch the trailer here –
