The most anticipated movie of the Jurassic world, ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ is finally here with it’s trailer and we cannot be more excited. Being the sixth installment of the ‘Jurassic Park’ franchise and the third installment of the ‘Jurassic World Trilogy’, this movie comes with it’s own set of dino-action and more. The base cast of the movie remains the same including Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard).

The trailer begins with a strong gust of wind blowing in the wintery tundra region. Snow-laden mountains and plateaus being visible in sight with dinosaurs running haywire. “I wanted to show them something that wasn’t an illusion. Something that was real. Something that they could see and touch” is narrated in the background as Owen was being his most natural self with the dinosaurs. This trailer shows how dinosaurs are cohabiting with humans in a different climatic region than before. This is where we will find out if the most cognitively advanced creatures, us humans, can coexist with the most fearsome species of all time.

Owen Grady wishes to keep a pair of dinosaurs amongst themselves in an attempt to train them to coexist. His opinions do not match with that of Claire who feels like it is not possible. The entire franchise of Jurassic World runs on the concept of an ecological disaster that we have been witnessing over the course of its movies and this one is similar to that, with lots of adventure and thrill. The old trio is back in this movie and it cannot get any better. Sattler sees Grant after years in a tent out on the field and she has a smile on her face. They finally discuss the purpose of their visit and they finally go about their usual task of saving their species and exploring dinosaurs.

The cinematography of ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ is magnificent and life-like, which makes it an amazing watch. From a flock of dinosaurs running on a sunny land to them creeping into jungles, sniffing humans, they are in their daily routine. In this process, there lies an extinction of a species which is getting fearful at the moment. “We not only lack dominion over nature, we are subordinate to it”, says Malcom while working on DNA’s. There is a terror that dinosaurs have created in the human world which forces the latter to run for their lives.

With the end of this Jurassic era, a war is seen to take place between the dinosaurs and humans, each trying best to save their own species. The original trio of Grant, Sattler and Malcolm join hands with Grady and Claire to save innocent lives of children from flocks of dinosaurs flying in the air, walking towards them and much more. There seems to be an impending chemistry between Claire and Grady that is seen in this installment of the movie as well. “I always come back”, says Graty with utmost confidence to Claire, who hopes he will.

The trailer ends in a modern time period, everything around seems very recent. Although this is a thriller to the very end, certain moments amidst the thrill makes the audiences laugh even harder. As Grady, Claire and a pilot are in the helicopter and they hear something over the plane, they anticipate that it is a helicopter but it most certainly is not! A lot of violence is seen in every second of the trailer, only making it an interesting watch, as it is a war between species.

The last few seconds of the trailer is an open confrontation between the group and the dinosaurs which have apparently gone bigger in size, as usual. The cast of the movie is brilliant with a gripping story. Chris Pratt as an animal behaviorist is seen to be very empathetic towards the dinosaurs. It’s a movie to find balance in the world and to see who resides at the apex of the ecological chain.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ releases in theaters on 10th June, 2022.
