Here’s another “mishap” drama, but this time it’s not the guy or the girl or their friends. The Mummy Papa of Ayushmann Khurrana are expecting a baby. While Ayushmann is getting married himself, he finds it very difficult to cope up with the situation his parents have put him in. It’s embarrassing and unacceptable because they live in a middle class society and eventually everyone finds out. The Sharmajis and aunties all over are gossiping and laughing over the family, the dadi is in disgust to find out and Ayushmann still can’t get over the fact that his parents are still having sex, realises while doing it himself.
The plot is simple and yet not simple. The trailer is funny itself and looks very promising. The feel of it will remind you of Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan or Bareily Ki Barfi, however the story seems to be hilarious and more entertaining. It’s the first time someone has attempted to touch a topic like this in a comedy format, good luck to Amit Sharma, the director. The cast is amazing with Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Nina Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sheeba Chaddha and Surekha Sikri, produced by Vineet Jain. It shall be refreshing to watch Sanya in a light and fun role after Dangal.
