One seldom comes across trailers that have the ability to instill a sense of calm. Ironically being set and filmed in the time of the pandemic, Unpaused offers a very enlivening perspective which could be what the world needs most right now.
Created by a team of some uniquely gifted directors and an ensemble cast, it gives a sneak-peek into five parallel stories. There is an underlining current of love, connections, hope, chances, anxieties, and unpredictability throughout the trailer.
Each story and character seems unique to a T. Unpaused brings some of the finest actors like Ratna Pathak Shah, Lilette Dubey, Richa Chadha, Sumeet Vyas, Gulshan Devaiah, and Abhishek Banerjee together.
Multi-story narratives are not the easiest to crack but from the looks of the trailer, it seems as though the team of Unpaused pulled it off pretty decently. Expectations of some sorts have been raised with the release of the trailer because it has created anticipation.
If the trailer is to be taken as a peek into the larger picture, Unpaused surely has a lot to offer. It might be set to becoming one of the most engaging and strangely insightful films of the year 2020.
